I will try add some pics if I didn't already. I basically made the bottom of the cell posts on my 501X flush with the rest - grinding a flat basically so it didn't stick out at the bottom into the cells.
I am using the Trakpower 3200 hard cased lipos. I've never really taken them out since putting them in - charge in the car (put the car in a sack! lol)
Putting them in I did notice the difference - in a bad way initially. The rear just became very loose, I was on bald tyres being fair but still. I ended up putting lead down the centre under the rear belt and also on the front rear hinge pin brace in between the belt - this made all the difference, bringing the weight back up and improving the balance, the car is now 'ACE'
