Conversely you can't claim that all Trakpowers fit in
every chassis without modifications - that includes not replacing or extending the battery posts or straps or the work needed to get them into a XX4.
I would say no mods needed means you can take out your nimhs and pop in your lipo pack without doing any work apart from flipping over the kit battery strap. Can you honestly say that they fit into the B44 with
no mods needed? Having to lengthen the posts and having to come up with something to stop them sliding into the shaft count as chassis mods to a lot of people.
I will agree with you about nimh saddle packs though, apart from ones built by the r/c car specialist shops ready built saddle pack batteries just don't exist any more. High end buggies designed for saddle pack batteries already limit their market by not having readily available packs as every other car you can buy these days using 7.2v uses a stick pack. Anyone coming to 4wd OR from any other class would either have to rebuild their nimhs or buy new saddle pack lipos.
