Anyway, has anyone been consistently using the center one-way yet? Our indoor off-road season starts this week, so I'll be driving my 501 at least once a week until March!
I've been using a center one-way on my Durga for over a month, and yes the Slipper Clutch set is required to install the center one-way (at least on the Durga). I do club racing on a hard pack dirt track and would 'never' go back to a locked front pulley. The center one-way makes a huge difference in cornering control and when landing jumps.

Because the front wheels can 'free-wheel' in a forward direction, they have the ability to spin faster than the motor can turn them. This allows the outer wheel to turn faster through a corner (better traction) and the front wheels to spin faster on a landing (like a 2WD). You get the best of 4WD and 2WD.
