Might I suggest staying in south shields. Ocean road has many guest houses on and around it. Its in the heart of shields 2 minutes walk from the night life but far enough away so its not too noisey. Also ocean road has about 20 indian restaurants and a mix of pizza shops, italian and chinese restaurants.
Ocean road in south shields is less than a ten minute drive from jarrow school...
