I think the proline axels make the car slightly wider but as Bizzle said the only reason to fit them is if you have some B4 wheels left over from the switch.
The new rear arms make the car wider or if running the standard rear end this can be achieved by simply putting a couple of washers in between the hex and wheel, thats how I run mine.
Also 2wd tyres all the way.
