depending on your skill level and your local club, the Associated B4 RS is a great starter car.

the car is RTR (Ready to Run) so you only need some basic extra equipment to race.

the car its self is a lower spec version of the multiple national and world champ winning AE B4, it comes with 'entry' level electrics that will get you used to going round a track etc... all of which can be upgraded as you need or want to.

2WD is 'generally' the most popular class at local clubs.
