When I had a go with the 20d it was easier to get and keep stuff in focus than with the 350d because the viewfinder is better. It's more accurate and relyable.

The better camera processes and sends info to the lens faster, which does make a difference - but I've found it was small - nothing like the difference a better lens makes.
