Yeah it does make sense to not take such a big risk. I'd still love it if they'd sell me one of the prototypes though, with a few spares
How is the Durango perceived? I don't know much about it, other than a couple old videos I saw and the bits I read here and there when searching. I read lots of talk about it from a while, long while, ago, and it seemed people liked it and were excited about it and thought it was a winner. Is it really such an antiquated design, even though Aero and Serpent copied it?
Practically every car out is an old design anyways except the schuey. Some have a few small innovations, but otherwise seem to be based on designs that came out years, or even decades, ago. Not to say there is anything wrong with any of them (except that cheap chinese one that breaks in half, yet wins races because the company that makes the car pays massive amounts of money to get the best drivers who can baby the car around the track), just nothing that hasn't been seen year after year.
An incredible amount of people act like the B44 is the best thing ever (maybe not over there, but over here they do). It's a crappy copy of a car that was built out of not 1, not 2, but 3 antiquated crappy cars. Well, 1 of those cars wasn't that crappy, but the other 2 sure were, lol.
I guess the S500 didn't do that well at worlds either which would be a set back (although far be it from me to guess whether that was a car or drivers issue since I know neither). Even the Yok placed higher and they specialize in drifters.
I sure love that chassis design though. I'd have bought it just for that. Oh well, I'll be waiting.
