No. Power Caps has nothing to do with (budget) ESC. The Limit is there for you to safely use the ESC. You can use anything higher provided that you have enough cooling going through the ESC's heatsink and if you do use it, it would probably for a short period of time. If stock ESC comes with a fuse, it would probably blow then you have replace it or it just simply died
