Lee, the K20 is much better than the K10 at higher ISOs which will help you get the most out of the 'slower' kit lenses in all conditions and negate many of their disadvantages. I'm sure there have also been other tweaks/improvements to autofocus, metering etc but have refrained from handling one thus far to keep my credit card safe from harm!
Lots of general photography help available here, plus I can probably answer any Pentax-specific questions you may have. One other thing - SRS are beyond excellent, have used them quite a bit.
