Bummer, we went on a group visit to Historic Motorsport (the preparation company that had these cars on site in its museum) a couple of years ago and sat in most of those cars. To be honest they were mainly "well used" and by no means pristine but they'll still be worth a pretty penny.
The Alpine A110 in particular is tiny, it was so small and low that no one could actually get in the thing, we had a job on just getting our heads inside it.
When we saw the Pikes Peak replica S1 it was being rebuilt - some of the panels had previously been made of wood! The white quattro shell was in roughly the same state as it is pictured.
The cars were I think owned by a Trust Fund in the majority and I notice that the particularly nice dark blue road-spec SWB Quattro Sport isn't included in the sale (it was described as David Suttons own car). I wonder if the company is a victim of the credit crunch.
