Here in the states we have the opposite problem. There are countless examples of overcrowding of the prison system, and we have a 40% privatized prison system. Over here people get arrested for pointless shite. Whereas in the U.K. a kid might get an ASBO, here they would get sent to Juvenile hall (kiddie jail). I think the U.S. and U.K. should swap police forces for a couple years.
