Touring cars and 1/12th are quicker, but only on flat surfaces and where grip is always there. I rekon you could make a 1/10th buggy go much quicker, especially when it works well on all surfaces. Look on the web and youll see videos of buggies and 1/10th scale trucks hitting over 60mph with brushless motors. But then again look at Cliff Letts touring car when he hit over 120mph, aerodynamics did play a major role in that.
