I've got a couple of GTBs, and they will also drive brushed motors, I'm not sure about sensorless brushless ones.

I recently blew one of the gtb's up, i didn't even think of buying anything but another GTB. The fans are quite weak though but they are quite cheap to replace. Between 3 of us we own 9 gtbs, but one of them doesn't work.
