Your wheels are probably just locking up causing it. My 4wd does it with a one way diff if i whack on the ancors because only the rear is braking, thats what thumb control is for
It's going to be doubley worse on gravel, thats if the fine dust and stones don't wreck your motor/diff/bearings first.
