A 2wd buggy under "heavy" braking on loose surfaces will often do this, as already advised you need to check the suspension is equal from left to right and possibly turn down the brakes on either your transmitter (if you can) or speedo.

BTW, NO Duratrax transmission is as good as the one found as standard on any Losi XXX, my best advise is to put your Losi gearbox back in, it will be a lot better, especially if it is built and set up correctly.
