That's a shame. SEAT in my limited experience have been awesome. Volkswagen reliability with only the Spanish touching the non-important stuff. Generally nicer (sporty) handling then their VW brothers and much cheaper.
I've had my SEAT Ibiza since new (April 2006) and it's not had a single problem. In fact the only think I don't like is how easily the interior marks... kinda funny as that's the only thing the Spanish done
So my next car with be VW Scirocco, VW chassis and interior there
