I've sent parcels to customers that have come back to me uncollected, the customer claims they never got a card and the official reason they got from their sorting office was "the postman didn't have a pen". I sent the customer a handful of pens to give the postie, I would have loved to see their face.
Also had a stock delivery parcel returned to sender with no card, and there is someone in most of the time anyway!
Thankfully these are rare incidents but still very annoying.
