First off, your contract is not with Horizon, it is with the shop you bought the speedo from. If it is faulty, it is up to the shop to comply with the Law on replacement or repair. Secondly, if you did something that was your fault, you pay for the consequences. The full details of the long warranty are in the box, and if you didn't comply, tough.
Since there is evidence that Horizon are continuing to honour the long warranty, despite not being able to pass that cost on to LRP, and that they offered you a discount for replacing your speedo, any reasonable lawyer would conclude that your post above is libelous. Horizon are kinder than you think - if that had been my company, you'd have a letter from my lawyer in this morning's mail!
If your definition of good service is always to replace or repair things free, then you're not going to like anyone in the model trade eventually!! Big Air, your treatment of Horizon is unfair, and unreasonable. Maybe your avatar is a clue - you're still living in the 1970s!!

Horizon are not continuing to honouring the warranty Bens was sent of over six weeks ago

My definition of a good service is to have it fixed or replaced under warranty conditions which my speedo was under.
After having a long chat with Horizon Hobby last week about my speedo i was told to send it of in the post and they would get it sorted, There was No mention of splitting with LRP the first i heard was on here

For the money we pay for speedos etc i would expect LRP to be on the ball when its comes down to service from which im told they are not and that is the main split. Not going to like anyone in the Model Trade you may have something there. I work in the motor trade and use snap on tools yes i pay a premium but there warranty is excellent if something fails they will replace it. The chat i had with Horizon suggest lrp are not like this. They like to drag there feet,
As for living in the 70's right on baby
