Just a follow up really, I'm up at Coventry running the new speedo in the XX4, so far i've put 10 packs of cells through it and no thermal issues at all.
I have been using the following settings.
Throttle limit - 0%
Reverse throttle limit - 100%
Motor timing - Normal
Initial acceleration - High
Braking percent - 40%
Percent drag brake - 12%
Neutral deadband - 2

The following settings were used with a Peak 5.5 geared on 19/78 or 9.48.
