Tbh, I don't really mind the slipper spring. I like my slipper to slip always on acceleration - I'm just crazy like that I guess. On one of my 501X's I have a BK2 diff spring on the slipper - and that's the one that most people go for. It's a really meaty beast of a spring and the adjustment is a lot finer than the original - I mean you move the nut a fraction of a turn instead of 1-2 turns!
