The CG of the Durga is actually quite close to the centre of the battery pack, so making the change to LiPo will have less effect, it will move the CG forward a little.
Compare that to the 501X, the CG is nowhere near the centre of the saddle pack, LiPo will make a much bigger difference.
I wouldn't necessarily go as far as to say the DB01 is a better choice handling-wise for LiPo, but it would merit serious testing. It is definitely better in terms of the choice of cells available.
