It has been a while since I ran the Kyosho but I could find no difference between the kit silvers and the supposedly stiffer "short" #75 bright green springs, I think one of the measured spring charts posted somewhere on here found that the kit #70 were actually stiffer.

Cut down dark greens do seem pretty stiff to me though, I know a few people used them a couple of seasons ago.
you make some valid point'sbut it does matter about the distance between the coil'slook at kyosho's for instance.coil's are furthest apart,same distance(stiffest spring)and on the softest spring,the coil's are closest together,same distance apartthink we'll beg to differ on this one sosidgeno one take's the mick out of my banana milk shake'sjezabell
