I go offshore occassionally for commissioning and surveys but i have a clause in my contract to say that i want an extra £100 a day for the inconvenience and also a minimum of 12 hours pay 
The oil industry is good right now and there is a lot of money to be made if you want it. |
also depends what job...i was in communications so was one of the better paid...also 55k for 6 months work!!
