After two seasons of racing it taught me how to drive smoother with less mistakes and use more throttle control. It really has paid off. I recently placed 7th in the A-main in 4wd mod at a large event on a really difficult course with very experienced drivers (some were sponsered too). I also made the a-main in 19T electric truck too and placed 5th. It was my consistancy and driving that allowed me to place this well. Not how fast of a motor or some special buggy that I had. Also, I was running a 11 turn brushed motor too. It was my driving and setup that made all the difference. So maybe you should consider some of the advise the people on here are giving you. Also, why do you have two of the same type of buggies? The B44 is just a capable as the 501X. It is the driver that makes the difference. Once you move to the 501X for a trophy race you will not be any faster and more than likely slower than you are with the B44. That is because you will not be use to it. Stick with one buggy and learn the in and outs of it.
The B44 is a world champ and the 501x is not, is the reason you said this.
Your AE biased. Well, sometimes it's better to have a backup plan in case
one car breaks the other car can come out of hiding....
I rather finish the race then win it at this point.
At the last 2 point series races I wasnt able to attend, because I
had issues with both cars and they had to be repaired.
Luckly that stuff was under warrenty and just traded my old novak motor
and esc for a faster motor and new esc.
I'm not that bad anymore, but in jan on that video was my first BIG race
with the B44. I DONT CRASH THAT OFTEN ANYMORE.
Wes told me today it's the way the car was setup, not my driving.

I have driven my 501x and it's much eaiser to drive than my B44 is.
But why race a 500 dollar car, when you have a cheaper car you can run
that the shops stock parts for?
I got those extra 501x parts so I dont have issues later.

I fell sorry for the nitro racers, since gas prices have or are gonna skyrocket soon
Nitro methane is going to 35 dollars a gallon.
