I have no idea if they could run an 8x2 in a 4WD indoor for 5mins
. Let alone the air con unit needed to cool it down

Why not buy them and try it out

I'm with Northy on this, I run a 12x1 V2 in both 2wd and 4wd which is
plenty fast enough indoors.
I live near Selby but I'm off to York on Sat for the start of the 2WD championship.
