A good way to get Kids into it without putting parents off would surely be a RTR Class where you literally have to run the cars as they come, that B4 RTR looks pretty good now?
Guess the problem again is Numbers though... you need people to be doing it to attract new starters.
I remember CML doing a Proline series where there were Control tyres and 15T motors for everyone - that helped a bit but didn't really take off.
