Got some tires today (Proline Holeshot), glued them to the wheels and went out for a test drive. I just have to say Wow! The handling was superb! It also turned really well, but not perfect, it's the servos fault because I use a standard cheap Hitec servo...But I will order a better one soon

But after about 3-4 mins. the ESC shut down because of over-heating, the motor was also
really hot (I couldn't keep my finger on the motor for longer than 3 sec.)! I use a bonded Novak 6.5R motor and a 17 pinion and stock spur. I didn't use the body at all because it's really tight to get everything to fit under it. I'm pretty sure the gearing is wrong but I didn't had any smaller pinions at home. So what gearing do you use in your Preds?
Oh and btw, I ordered a sintered rotor today to see if I can get the temps lower.
