Should be no problem for this class. I'm very uncertain as to touring and 1:12 OTOH... haven't seen any good proposals or technical solutions for that yet... (4,8 and 6 volt)
@Lee: it's just an option. You can still run NiMH and brushed motors. I'll give you a bargain in 2009
