If someone is revving the car when you need to marshall it, then don't touch it..... it could be the worlds championships, don't touch it guys, it'll burn for weeks and probably scar!!

At Oswestry, Chis Bowater crashed just before the loop on the last lap where I was marshalling, I could see his adrenalin was at peak and I was as quick as could be, but he applied full throttle a fraction too soon and a tyre caught my wrist slightly, only very slightly, and im sure Boggy didn't mean it as I know he's not like that, so I said nothing, but it left a slight mark which stung like a small burn.... it just shows how much the spinning tyres can hurt if the tyre is in full contact with skin.

I get very frustrated when I crash, and I used to apply throttle in frustration at myself. I now wiggle my steering instead. Although to get somebodies attention I may give the throttle a blast but get on the brakes once seen.
