........ remember a couple of things.

1) The largest part of the cost of fuel is TAX. Remember there is TAX on the fuel used to deliver the fuel, on the overall amount (VAT) and obviously the duty on the fuel you by itself.

2) The petro-chemical companies don't make much profit at all at the pumps, certainly no more than 10% of the pre-tax prices! They make their profits from the by-products of refining oil based products, other energy industrial sectors and by investment in futures etc (trust me most big multinational companies make more money playing on the money markets than by their products .... no matter what the industry).

3) The majority of petrol stations are not owned by the big oil companies and they don't make their money on the fuel you buy either ..... more so on the crap you buy whilst walking through (food, drinks, mags & papers ...... etc.)


If you want to see fuel prices fall in this country do something about the government ....all those thinking of voting red again ... well it's your funeral!!!!
