Before buying my 501X I read through Jimmy's review a couple of times. Still the best purchase Ive made to date buying the 501X. I wanted to prove the point that the original screw kit would be good enough to use. I put grease on the countersunk heads before screwing them to the chassis, used the correct threadlock and the proper tools for the job. On my first rebuild I could not get about half a dozen of the screws out with the hex stripping like it were made of cheese. Even if the fitting wasn't so shallow the metal the screws are made from is crap. Ive had to slot a hole in many of them now and remove with a flat head screwdriver and some luck. DOH! Ever since then I replaced them all with some quality fixings and keep the original screws for my plastic vintage cars. My advise-DONT USE THE DAMN ORIGINAL SCREWS-THEY SUCK.
