On mine i do not have the fan on becasue if you have geared it right then it wouldn't over-heat and I normally wouldn't run one in 2wd anyway. The power cap is placed in that little compartment beheind the speedo and is held in place with a little bit of double sided. It isn't the neatest thing in the world but it works.
