From memory they are exactly the same size clips as those used by Schumacher so thats a good option.
Not sure they have gone overboard with the clip, you just need the right tool (or a dremelled pair of cheap pliers
). Jimmy did you shove a load of silicone oil/grease down the seals first to stop it tearing? it shouldn't tear even the kit seals. Hope you are having fun
