If that was in the first A then I had not set the car for the wet, I was on long wheelbase and everything from the dry still, I sorted it for the last 2 legs though and had loads of drive.

But to be honest most of it was probably me trying to just get the power down, the X6 has loads of rear end, more than any car I have driven and I have driven a few over the years

That one part of the track is not a good corner to see how much drive a car has either, as it is coming on to the straight it is more down to how much power people are putting on and I am known for my slightly heavy left thumb

Low tranny is less drive but better on the bumps, don't ever feel it effect the rotation, just drive and bump handling. I left it low for the all the A's though, just changed to short wheelbase and changed the shock oil.
