Unfortunately right now we are all out of stock on those two parts....even I cannot get them for my kit!!! A lot of the ordering for parts is done on a prediction basis of how popular parts will be. I think what happened as far was there were a few race events that really threw us off, and the popularity of the DB01 was much greater than expected. We never thought that people would be selling their B44s and 501xs to buy a DB01.
I am not sure who you talked to when you called, but I do apologize that they could not help you more than stating we are out of the parts. It is true that when we do not have parts in stock, we cannot take any sort of back order or preorder or anything of that nature due to the amount of time shipments take, customs, and other things. We are looking into bulking up our ordering of these and other parts that are useable on the 501X, 501x WC and DB01 since there are a ton of people who will now want these parts. I am not sure where you are, but Tamiya USA should have some more parts soon.
