Well its not so much being a member to be a mechanic, but you do need to be a member to step within the track boundaries - i.e. within the orange fencing, this is always mentioned at every drivers briefing from as far back as I can remember.
Im not saying send someone else to pick the car up tho.
The BRCA membership isn't a lot, get it paid dude.
