LOL!
Actually, i wasn't referring to myself, i had no problems. However, whenever i've been in an A, or watched one, i've seen/heard/or been told of blantant 'take outs', or completely unneccessarily aggressive driving that's gone totally unpunished.
Last year, i made my first A at Southport, and understandably, i was a little overwhelmed by it all. I was being really cautious, but just got unceremoniously wiped out by others. I accepted it, cos it was my first A and i was absolutely buzzing.
The problem is, i've watched people work really hard in qualifying to get them as high on the grid as possible, only to see all their hard work undone by completely shit driving (and that is exactly what it is). The problem seems to be that the people who do this, are pretty confident that they'll get away with it.
Look, i'm not dissing the referees and officials. How can I? their tasks are selfless, and if it wasn't for them, we wouldn't be able to race in the first place. However, i would absolutely love to see certain drivers punished for consistent dirty driving. And yeah, if it was me who mullered someone, i'd accept a ten second penalty without argument.
