Update

I was talking to an ex colleague at the beginning of the wk who I know had a Voyager. What I didn't know was he bought it off the fleet guys when his was handed back cuz he liked it so much. It seems that 10 were procured to be distributed round the regions. I think it was 6 normal and 4 Grand Voyagers Of the ones that needed gearboxes! One was reported (serviced by Chrysler dealers) to have been abused and the other (rumor has it) had never seen a drop of oil from the day it was manufactured. The clutch problems seemed to have been only the cars that had been fitted with tow bars and had been used to drag all kinds of gear out of fields etc. Of the ten we had , one was stolen within a few wks of having it and two were written off in accidents. It seems that three came with rubber floor covering and vinyl type seats. I never saw these ones and didn't know you could have that as an option but maybe other markets outside of the UK offered that. Apart from the normal things like disks on 2 cars and brake pads My friend doesn't recall any other problems. As most of them were returned after 18 months / two years (before they were replaced) it doesn't give much of a long term guide. You will get people write and say they have had one for like four years and never had to put a spanner on it and I don't doubt that however we are not talking about a careful owner driver here. We are talking about different drivers and lots of different uses but the word on the street is they did OK.
