I think the ultimate 'new' class would be semi scale looking CORR trucks (Traxxas no Losi) with 10.5T limited motors and any batts you like.
30 minute final main event, 10 minute other finals with bump ups
running big mAh LiPo batts and just 10.5's (or maybe even less motor) you could just bump up without charging
