They are Big, The pack wouldn't even fit between the battery hold down posts! You can barely shimmy it between the narrow portion of the posts and then they are flexing, by the time you get it down to the bottom of the post where it is wider, where the screw goes in, Forget it! I had to drill two New holes, I drilled the holes for the front posts and left the rear posts where they were. I put the new holes out about a 1/4" towards the outside of the chassis and moved them towards the front about 3/16" to give me some breating room then countersunk the holes! Now that the posts are further apart you can't use the stock carbon hold downs and need to either make new hold downs out of fiberglass or carbon or devise some other way. I devised a simple way that seems to be working fine and was cheap and very easy to do. I have velcro under the pack which most people use anyways and then I cut strips of lexan scrap, just regular flexable lexan like from an RC body and put holes for the battery posts and use that to hold it down, believe it or not the Batts stay in place. I left the front posts at their normal heigth for my maxamps 4400 pack with just a 1/8" spacer between the post and chassis. The rear posts I raised about 3/16". I didn't want to raise the front posts any more to keep them from scraping the body, with the body on, the packs are right up against the body. The rear posts are under the angled lip of the body so there's no problem with raising them they won't scrape. The batterys are not straight but at angles, with the rear of the batterys towards the chassis center and the front of the batts outwards towards the outer edge of the chassis. The batterys are right up against the rear upper brace both the front and back of the batterys. By angling it like this it doesn't press out on the body or undertray so the body fits with no problems. The wire ports are also in towards the center of the car so they have room to protude where the windshield of the body is. Sorry I don't have any pics available yet!
