I guess the D4 shell will fit too? I haven't built my B44 yet. I bought a D4 shell as well, I presumed it would fit (since the D4 looks very similar)... I like the shape and those shark gills it has"! Very Ferrari style!
As to 5 vs. 6 cells: How about "almost" slotting out the hole for the 6th cell, just leaving 4x "tabs" that hold it in place. Would be strong enough with 5 cells, yet very easy to remove if you wanna race with 6... Not all people are to be considered stable with a Dremel in their hands
