I've run an 25t pinion on a HPI 17x2 motor for med size indoor track. Was quicker then a brushless 6.5 powered Durga. Was getting warm at end of 5mins but not cooking hot.

The smallest you can make a mo4 is m. You could always make it a l and use a bmw mini body. Have done this and made it to look rallycross style with rear wing etc.

c type is soft compound ones sold in boxes
both have inserts.
The c compound is still harder then m3 holeshots but i have found work well on dry...

3 Wheelbase lenghts short 210, medium 225 and...

3 Wheelbase lenghts short 210, medium 225 and long 230.
Hpi mini bodies where all 210. Also ABC bodies are 210.
