I think the 3gr is 2.4 ghz only. I have one, and it works flawlesly, but lacks ergonomic adaptability. No spring tension adjustment, no angle adjustment for the sticks...awkward menu operation......

Try a glitch buster/capacitor on the receiver. Solved the problem for me with my TFR4s... it happened to me all the time using savöx servos, which are known to draw a lot of amps.
