Cheers for the suggestions, but I have tightened the spur gear onto the motor, and adjusted the motor end bell timng! now it flies!

And by the way it's a Reedy Kr 10 x 1, not Mr. Bit worried...

Na, I gues that means it's ok? The problem is it doesn't hot throttle anywhere! It just seems to be running at 70% the pace i'd expect it to :mad:.
The ESC set up guide says hold the throttle full...

Cheers Jimmy, I suppose I could reset the esc, it's the one touch setup version so I figured pretty fool-proof even for the likes of me. On the wiring front, I did have to solder some wire together...
