Starter box problem

Hi All,
I have a starter box problem. When pressing down on the box the connection that makes the circuit shorts out. Now the starter box doesn't work
I have disconnected the motors and have looked for a short but can’t see any obvious. No wiring is shorting on the starter box nor touching the motors. I am thinking the motors have given up, I have checked using a meter but they appear to be ok

The Lipos are both OK even though there is no fuse in the system (might put one in now)

Help!!!!!!!!!!!

Which box is it?
Bypass the switch for a start, often the weak link in any starter box
Obvious also is do away with Tamiya connectors.

Its the SMD starter box

I bypassed the switch, (it wouldn't cause a short anyway, well not between each other)

There are not connectors on it, the wiring just plugs straight into the lipos

I just wondered if anyone had had similiar problems
