mardave wheels v contacts help pls

Hi lads for the last few weeks i have been running med soft pink rear and 38s fronts, does anybody no the same wheels in the contact tyres, My son once tried 50/38 i think and it was tipping all over, any thoughts..

only asking as the bearing fit much better in the contact wheels and wpin more freely where as the 6 spoke wheels ( diff type ) they seam to be tight on the bearings and not as free to spin on the axel...

Mardave wheels on the diff axle (diff side only) almost always need to be reamed out to 5mm. Every wheel I have ever bought from Mardave was too tight on this axle and screws up the diff action. Handling is transformed once that wheel is bored out to the correct size - and the M3 nyloc nut must not be done up tight.

just run the softest ones that you can find front and rear, i used to run pink soft and 38's and now run the softest compound contacts that are available
