'Approved Batteries'

Is there a list of approved batteries for the cars like there is for other BRCA classes?

2s 7.4v lipo of any size

There is no special list

Does not have to be hard case

I was trying to get one going for ages, but no one wanted it. The rule tends to be charge in a lipo bag, run a low voltage cut off doobery, then you shouldn't need a hard cased approved battery.

Let's not mention the word 'hardcase' too often,or there may well be a ruling brought in :o

the rule is that you have to charge in a lipo bag or be sent home.

other than that any 7.4v lipo is acceptable as long as it fits within the chassis.
