Any chance of a bit more info ?
What time should people start arriving sat and sun ?
Will there be any food and drink on site ?

Also after speaking to a few people today it appears not many people know much about this venue so any info regarding the surface and type of venue would be great. What tyres work ect ?

Answers to your questions:
  • What kind of information are you requiring? As NE Reps we try and provide as much information as possible, you wont see this in many other regions! If there is aything we are not doing right, let me know, and Im sure we can sort something. We start Threads every Regional to get people talking, and provide Directions etc, however this is done on our back, and we try and capture as much information that required.
  • Times are the same for all regionals, please see link with all information on, I think this pretty much covers everything: http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93048
  • I would imagine there will be catering, however there is a Fair Ground "Thing" near by which does Fish & Chips etc. Can someone from the club confirm?? Dave Pack etc.....
  • The Venue is a Temporary Grass track with man made Jumps! Not sure about Tyres, but I am sure a racer can advise. I would imagine the usual, Yellow/Green Mini Spikes :)
Any further questions??

Thanks for the reply Gemma this has clarified all my queries.

No worries Mark,

Myself and Kash will be at Jarrow, unfortunatly I was in hospital for RHR so wasnt a face around the place.
Feel free to come over and introduce yourself!

Thanks,

I believe there will be a catering van there but Chris Pattinson is finalising everything with the council but if there isn't one then as Gemma said there's loads of places selling fish and chips. Everything will be announced on the day but if you are unsure about anything give me a shout.

First of all I'd like to thank Mike Cockerill for the loan of the laptop and the fella (sorry I don't know your name but you know who you are!) who was helping to sort the AMB to get racing going again!
How do things like computers know the worst possible time to break down?

Sorry if the delay spoiled any body's day but we were doing all we could to get it sorted! One thing is for sure, That laptop will not be causing us any problems in the future!! Dave Pack made sure of that :woot:

Hopefully tomorrow will run smoothly.

Unfortunately I could only race today but everything seemed to go without a hitch and we even got a prompt finish and some nice weather to go with it...!

2 Great tracks and 2 good days racing with plenty of North East banta thrown in for good measure. Problems happen.... nothing we couldent live with and im sure anyone with constructive criticism would be welcomed to help in future events. Good job Jarrow will definatly be back next year.

chrispattinson 20-05-2012 07:27 PM

And well done to Greg Williams, TQ & Win in 2WD & 4WD .... no one was close, even those old F1 drivers that came out of retirement for the event.
