At coventry today the tyre of choice on the wet was kourse kings frot and rear and they worked best

They were the tyre that seemed the best in the wet at Coventry... still very hard work though and a few random places on the track really caught you out when trying to feed power in!

We were trying everything available pretty much, even various dirt tyres.

Schuey Blue Minispikes were better than yellows but still not as good as Kourse Kings, which was a shocker as you'd expect softer compounds to work better in wet and Fastrax are a lot harder than Schuey blue minispikes... so must have been carcass profile being flatter that worked.

Hopefully the dBoots Multibytes will be out soon and if available in 'B' compound then we'll finally have a wet tyre for SCT's on Astro.

kourse kings work well in wet and dry, did read somewhere on here kourse kings are dead i disagree they are good tyres and wear well, long live kourse kings i swear by them:thumbsup: think the grip comes from tread pattern as they are like angle spikes same as 1/8 version which are also good in wet

Schuey Blue Minispikes with a soft insert for me , finished 3rd in the A final only 1 mistake on the double lost me 2nd.
Home track advantage maybe, we have 3 types of astro and the grip does go off in areas when it rains.
